(One for parents to try at home.)
“Do try this at home!”
In 1908 Judd had two groups of boys and girls throw darts at a target submerged in water at various levels.
One group was taught a refraction principle and the other not.
At 12 inches depth both groups were equally successful.
At 4 inches the trained group was more successful – suggesting that they were able to profit from previous learning.
If your child works through eleven plus papers it is likely that your child will profit from learning.
