Some authorities are trying to change elements of the Eleven
Plus. Some critics have maintained that the eleven plus is far too prone to
being influenced by careful coaching and preparation. There is no doubt that some
children can be taught certain types of questions.

After all we do want children who can think as well as pass eleven plus examinations. Don't we?
